eBay Store Header Link Editing Instructions
 

Please read our Template Editing Instructions to learn how to find and edit html tags. Same rules apply to editing any of our HTML.
 

HTML TAGS TO LOOK FOR

HTML tags you need to look for:  (Headers will not always have all the links.)

YOUR EBAY NAME HERE

To find text and html in a hurry in notepad all you do is: Open your notepad txt Template file (or paste your html into notepad ) at the top of notepad you will see :  File - Edit - Format - View - Help

Under Edit you will see all the main important tools that you will need to use.

Find - Replace - select all - Copy - Paste

Find and replace makes it easy to find text and html that you need to find and replace.

Select all, Copy and Paste makes it easy to select all your txt and copy and paste it into eBay for use.

EDITING LINKS:  To find the tag in the html for the Listings LINK you look for

<!---**** Listings LINK ***---> Or YOUR EBAY NAME HERE

When you find the tag you want to find the text that says

YOUR EBAY NAME HERE

This is where you type in your eBay ID Name

 You do  this for all the link areas that say YOUR EBAY NAME HERE
MAKE IT EASIER AND FASTER : Most html and text editors have edit replace all feature. So you do not have to do each link one by one. If you are using note go to edit at the top replace. Replace window will pop up place the tag YOUR EBAY NAME HERE in the find box and in the replace with box type your eBay ID Name then click replace all.
EDITING YOUR STORE LINK : To find the tag in the html for the STORE LINK you look for

<!---**** Store LINK ***---> or  YOUR STORE NAME

When you find the tag you want to find the text that says

YOUR STORE NAME

type in your eBay Store Name

DON'T KNOW YOUR STORE NAME : To find your eBay store name simply go to eBay click on your store ICON Look at the top of your browser and you will see the URL. Copy and Paste in your NAME
